VOA’s CROSSWALK, a multi-service center for street kids, seeks volunteers from 5-9 p.m. one day per week. Volunteers supervise the reception desk, help serve dinner and spend time with teenagers. Must be 21 and commit to at least six months. Training is provided.

Sexual Assault Advocate - Lutheran Community Services Northwest
The SAFeT Response Center, a program of Lutheran Community Services, is seeking volunteer advocates to provide medical and legal advocacy, crisis intervention and support to victims of sexual assault and their families. Volunteers must be at least 18 and pass a criminal background check. Training is provided.

Assists staff with waking up shelter guests, preparing snacks, supervision, and check-out. Experience with at risk and homeless populations a benefit. Will be required to pass background check. Hours will be from 6:30am-8:30am.

Receptionist - VOA Hope House
Performs general reception and secretarial duties: answering phones, taking messages, providing information about shelter and clothing bank to callers. Experience with at risk and homeless populations a benefit. Will be required to pass a background check. Hours will be from 9:00am-1:00pm or 1:00pm-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Housekeeper - VOA Hope House
Provides general housekeeping duties to help keep shelter clean including sweeping, mopping, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and laundry. Experience with at risk and homeless populations a benefit. Will be required to pass a background check. Hours will be from 9:00am-1:00pm or 1:00pm-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Center Coordinator - New Hope Ranch

This would entail opening and closing our facility for events, coordinating with the Board of Directors and staff to help ensure a clean and safe environment for our ministries, which are now primarily for the homeless. This person should have a heart for helping, a good communicator, responsible, and have a flexible schedule.

Adult Volunteer - Truth Ministries
We are seeking volunteers who are 18 or over (Christian preferred). The hours of operation are 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and run several shifts (8-11 pm, 11 pm-2 am, 2-5 am, and 5-8 am). Training is provided.
